Geometry Series
The Geometry Series is an exploration in collage inspired by a geometry textbook. Each piece explores a different chapter in the book exploring concepts such as circles, triangles, perpendicular lines and angles. Geometry has always been an important focus in my painted work so it was very relevant for me to use it as a starting point for a collage series. The textbook reality of geometry is juxtaposed with abstract designs and drawing related to each topic. Color is again key but with much more black introduced as a background.
