Collages
The collages explore color with a large variety of found materials. Similar color relationships as found in the paintings are created and presented by carefully arranging colored materials. Texture becomes a key element explored with materials such as cardboard, window screen, crayon shavings and bubble plastic wrap. Themes such as geometry and astronomy become a starting point for abstract concepts and designs. Mystery remains a key component of the work.
