About my work

My painted pieces are large and often multi-paneled creating unique opportunities to explore fields of color. The geometry of Renaissance altarpieces has been a unique inspiration for this work. More recently, I have been exploring collage and incorporating some of the same imagery into that work. Collage has also provided me with the opportunity to work on series of pieces. These series focus on consistent images or themes, allowing me to experiment more deeply with color and material while repeating a similar Image or theme.
