#98 Remains of a Cross

The inspiration for this piece was the scraps of colored paper left over from spheres I had drawn and cut out.  I wanted to try creating a cross that was actually part of the background technique and distinguished only by color.  Black became the vehicle for defining the cross, which brings order and mystery to the chaotic environment that surrounds it.
