#97 Rainbow Cross

I had an entire packet of colored transparent plastic gel samples from a lighting company and decided they would make an interesting cross.  It had been a while since I had worked with transparent materials.  The plastic samples had precut holes in them, which were difficult to integrate into the piece.  Finding a hole punch the same size was a challenge.  I introduced translucency to the border as a way of continuing the theme of transparency and color mixing.
