#95 Sunrise Cross

This piece revisits the checkerboard concept in blues and oranges.  The theme of sunrise and sunset was on my mind.  The cross, which appears very subtle, represents the rising sun with all of the associated colors.  The various blues are suggestive of all the hours of the day and night.  It is a happy piece, as well as an intense study of complementary color.
