#86 King’s Cross

I wanted to continue working with the playing cards and was still having fun experimenting with spray paint.  It was a great medium for obscuring the bold imagery of the cards and maps.  The piece is historical in context with references to the monarchies of 18th century Europe.  The spray paint creates interesting color and a sense of mystery.  It also provides a vehicle for a study of the three primary colors.
