#84 Graffiti Cross
The old piece of cardboard became an interesting surface for drawing with the oil pastels and then masking off sections and layering on spray paint. The color and texture that was created reminded me of graffiti. The spray paint formed interesting gradations of color that contrasted nicely with the more vibrant color of the oil pastel. The circles float on an eerie background intersecting with the cross in mysterious ways. The texture of the cardboard remains obvious.
