#81 cross for chagall
Some pieces in the series were inspired by combining elements I had been saving but wasn’t sure how to use. This piece was a combination of a painted piece of poster board I pulled out of the trash and a piece of window screen I had been using as a template for spray painting cross images. I had some imitation plastic stained glass material that I inserted into the painting and it began to remind me of Chagall’s stained glass. It should be viewed backlit.
