#69 ascension cross

The Ascension Cross floats on top of a striped background of gradated color.  The transparent nature of the cross and some of the larger circles gives everything an unanchored feeling, as if the background is constantly passing by as things move upward. There is structure to the arrangement, yet the lightness and weightlessness dominate.  The center circle suggests where everything is headed.
