#66 red cross

I had found this great paper that was almost like fabric and a terrific shade of red.   It inspired me to think about creating a piece around the iconic Red Cross.  When I put the red on this piece of gray painted paper the gray suddenly appeared to be green.  The circles represent as many different greens as possible with other colors thrown into the mix as well.  There are subtle and not so subtle plays on complementary color.  This was a challenging piece to complete and was revisited several times to get the relationship between the color and geometry correct.
