#41 checkered cross

This piece began with a checkerboard background I created and then put away.  When it came back out, I thought it would be fun to create “checkers” out of scraps of paper from other pieces.  The cross becomes an overlay of the negative spaces left after the circles were cut.  The green center circle helps to control all of the red.  It feels like some kind of game board.
