#39 Armored cross

The foil and metallic papers inspired the Armored Cross.  During the process, I began to think about medieval armor and decided to tear the foil to suggest an ancient or deteriorating effect.  The pale blues add light, hope and energy as well as a connection to life. The black suggests the darker side.  Overall, I was happy with the sense of age the piece ended up conveying.
