#32 Navigation Cross

I wanted to work with maps, big world maps, because the oceans intrigued me.  I stared cutting out ocean pictures from magazines and used them to create the border.   The idea of navigation was derived from the need to connect the border and the cross.  Conceptually, it’s all about the ocean and traveling across it, and, of course, an intense study of blue and green.  In the end, orange too played a role.
