#30 Jeweled cross

The inspiration for this collage was an old paint splattered piece of cardboard.  Once I started cutting circles into it, I decided to create an interactive piece.  The jewels are the twenty-four circles made up of different materials.  They can be removed and rearranged.  The numbers add a fun game-like quality that adds to the theme.  The simple blue cross is in stark contrast to the abstract border of color.
